Cookie Policy

A concise overview of what cookies may be used on the site and why.

Effective date: 24 March 2026

This page describes cookies and similar storage on VPNChoice as the site actually works today—not a generic list of trackers we do not run.

1. What are cookies

Cookies are small text files stored in a user's browser when they visit a website. They help the site work properly, remember basic settings, and understand how users interact with pages.

2. What this site loads today

VPNChoice is built as a mostly static informational site. As of the effective date above, we do not embed Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Meta (Facebook) Pixel, or similar advertising measurement scripts on our HTML pages. If that ever changes, this policy will be updated to name each tool and why it is there.

3. Essential cookies and similar storage

Your browser may still store small amounts of data needed for ordinary page delivery (for example, security-related responses or basic caching). We refer to these broadly as essential cookies when they are strictly required for reliable rendering or security.

4. When you leave for a partner site

If you click an outbound link to a VPN provider or an affiliate network, that website may set its own cookies or use its own trackers under its own policies. We do not operate those pages and cannot speak for what they store after you leave VPNChoice.

5. Embedded content or future tools

Some future additions—embedded players, chat widgets, or other third-party embeds—could introduce additional cookies if we implement them. We will keep this document aligned with the actual code on the site.

6. Managing cookies

You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings. Blocking everything can interfere with logins elsewhere; on VPNChoice the practical impact is usually small because we avoid invasive third-party stacks by default.
